Wordpress plugin for referrer spam
[STONE DEAF PILOTS - the deaf tech blog] I’ve been noticing a lot of referrer spam in my logs, so I installed this plugin that blocks referrer spam. Hopefully it won’t cause my posts to break on RSS readers and blog aggregators.

[Slightly Shady SEO] Now, on the ancient hosting account, I NEVER updated any databases or software to combat MSN’s referrer spam cloaking detection. All of my domains(as it has been verified) behaved exactly how MSN would expect them to(yes, every single domain on this account cloaks).

Blog Referral Spam: The Signs And How To Avoid It
[blog2life.co.uk] Well you’d be surprised the excitement of having your website featured in a video could be on reason, as I have found on other sites the people have presumed that anyone in their blogshpere is their friend, right? Well It would appear not, as you know never to download any dodgy looking files from your email in box we need to take the same approach with this new form of spam and be more wary.

[Photochopz.com - Photoshop Forums Contests and Tutorials] Whats up with the recent barrage of youtube refferal spam? Is this some new trend? usually we only get referral spam from p0rn or v1agra sites but recently its been mostly from crappy youtube videos. Anyone else getting a lot of this?
