'The abuse, which dates back at least to the beginning of this month, helps evade filters that internet service providers employ to block the messages.

Dear readers !- My investment blog

[My investment blog] I’m not sure what the author meant by that, for I have received MANY messages of other guys stating that there had been links from my website to their blogs and sites. All the authors expressed gratitude to me. Yes there were some messages that say bullshit about bots or something I don’t understand, but I relate it to the hosting service, I’m not engaged in it. I don’t know what it’s all about.

[OneAndOneIs2] The problem with this kind of spam is that we KNOW that bing is a genuine search engine and we want to avoid blocking a potential traffic source and yet they take advantage of their status and use low-down, cheap tactics to inflate their usage figures.

[Guide To Blogging] I’ve mentioned a few cool plugins recently related to showing your appreciation for those that take the time to leave a comment on your blog - well I’ve just come across another one which I’ll mention in a minute but I also wanted to take the time to remind you all of another plugin that helps fight spam - as much as all bloggers no doubt love to receive comments at the same time we all have a loathing for the comment spammers; particularly for me those that try to hide the fact that they are spammers - they make what you initially might think is a worthwhile comment - until you realise that they’ve left that same comment on every other post in your blog (and on your other blogs as well) though I do have to almost laugh at those that say sorry with a sad smile before listing a tonne of links.

New spam-blocking software!

[Alas, a blog] I kept getting spam comments constantly and I’d spend a good hour a day going through and getting rid of bad comments and then see a whole mess of good comments that were quarantined. I switched to Defensio for my spam protection and have yet to change to anything else because I like it so much.
