Targeting Spam > Alec - blog spammers have outgunned him 275 to 1
[Blog.DanYork.com] It's nice to see someone keeping all those stats and then providing them. We've been using Akismet over at Voice of VOIPSA as well and it has worked fantastically, but I've been deleting all the blog spam now and then, so I don't have any great way to keep a record like this.

[Blogherald.com] Akismet publishes Blog Spam stats at The Blog Herald: Stephen - Akismet removes the duplicate spam comments so while you might have received 30 spam comments if there were only 6 different versions then you will only see 6 in the managent area.

The security professionals at SecuriTeam have recently posted a series of links to research on blogspam that make for a very interesting read on the relationship between blogspam and AdSense.
