I personally can't wait to see her bad judgement in forgiving and forgetting where Adam is concerned blown up in her face.)

[Lean Left] Global Cooling? Perhaps Not. « Lean Left: In that movie, rapidly melting polar freshwater ice interrupted the world’s ocean currents, stopping the Gulf Stream that warms the Northern Hemisphere in its tracks. A paper published last week in the journal Nature said the exact opposite is true, and that ocean circulation would become stronger as polar ice melted.

[Perfume Posse] YOSHfest | Perfume Posse: Since I don’t care about sillage, being utterly selfish about my little perfumed environment–as long as I can smell it, I’m happy–oils are theoretically a good match for me. But I just can’t see paying that much for fragrances that don’t have notes I’m all that interested in.

Just like another former member's new rig, he just tried something new, whether it was good or bad, and was lambasted as being a moron for doing so.

[In Pursuit of Mysteries] Open Buddha » Blog Archive » More E-sangha Thought Control: The whole point of this thread as I understand it is to highlight the fact that debate and the shaping of views is not allowed on E Sangha. Oh brother you can defend the moderating policy on E sangha ad infinitum but it will not alter my view and the view of many many others ( I know personally of some 6 or 7 experienced Buddhist practitioners who have stopped posting on E sangha because of the draconian nature of the moderation, particularly on the Tibetan forum ) that E Sangha which is a potential source of much good, has in fact become a source of great concern due to its totalitarian , and controlling tone.

[Crimerant] Crimerant » Blog Archive » No Charges: Lori Drew Bullied Megan ...: Megan Meier was good friends with another young lady who lived just down the road, but their friendship didn’t end amicably (I don’t know if friendships can end amicably).  This former friend’s mother, Lori Drew, must have felt that her daughter was somehow wronged by Megan, and somehow came to the nutty conclusion that her best course of action would be to create a fake MySpace profile to pose as a potential boyfriend to her neighbor.  This fake profile was of a boy named Josh Evans, who apparently owned a snake.  I’m not sure how this helped, but one of the articles I was reading seemed to think this was crucial information.  Maybe these days teenagers are really attracted to snakes and names that pop up forty times in any given phone book.  I don’t know.  This romance went on for a while before Lori Drew, as Josh Evans, decided to drop the hammer and attack Megan for the way she treated her friends.  This led to an argument between the MySpace couple, which eventually ended with “Josh” telling Megan that “The world would be a better place without you.”  Megan Meier became so upset at this that she killed herself shortly afterward.
