I always am more flattered when I know I've helped someone specifically with something in her life or business than when she simply says an article of mine was "bodacious." If spammers were smart (they aren't and that's why they're spammers), they would talk more about how your chicken salad suggestion helped curb their appetites than about how you helped then solve all of their problems in general.
