[Twittercism] POLL: Twitter To Charge YOU $1/month For Access. Now What ...: Not to mention that unlike email, interfering with someone’s reception of spam in their postal mailbox is actually a fellony, whereas interfering with someone’s reception of spam in their email is not only allowed but is highly encouraged by all but the spammers. Believe me, I wish the post office would take it upon themselves to filter out all the unwanted postal mail I get just as my email provider and my client program do, but when someone who worked for the post office in my area tried to do that, he not only got fired from the post office, but he also got put in prison for his good deed.
[Valley Fever] The Case Against Don Stapley -- Here's What the Sheriff Claims to ...: As Stapley's lawyer, Paul Charlton, told my colleague Ray Stern this afternoon, the allegations will "die on the vine" unless some prosecutor steps forward to file an indictment or a direct complaint. Literally, today's circus means nothing unless Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas or the special prosecutor on the previous case against Stapley, Mel Bowers, decides to follow up.

[Blog Bites Man] Just saying no to link spam « Blog Bites Man: Whether or not these guys are scam artists in the sense that they won’t pay up, or spammers promoting viagra sites is irrelevant. What they are doing by purchasing text links in the content of your sites and dictating the keywords which are used as the anchor text for those links is an attempt to influence Google into ranking their clients sites higher up the results than those sites deserve to be.
[Reason Magazine - All Reason Articles from the Past Year: Page 1] The Friday Political Thread: Write It Backwards on Your Face - Hit ...: All of those extra registrations certainly put a burden on statevoter registration offices, and I understand some of them havecomplained about being swamped. But from the NYT story it soundedlike the majority of the registrations turned in that weren'tcompletely new, legit registrations were either address changes orduplicates, both of which are pretty legit/non-fraudulent in mybook (I think duplicates are technically illegal in many places, but given the number of people who are falsely purged I'd want toregister a second time just to be sure as well).
