Targeting Spam > rc3.org - Spammers gaming Google
[rc3.org] For years I’ve avoided Google for certain types of searches, but it’s true things seem to be getting worse. We’re planning a move to a new town in a few months and searching for the most basic information on grocery stores, internet access, etc, only results in a morass of useless pages that have no real content at all, and certainly nothing remotely local.

[drupal.org - News and announcements] Marketing Offensive | drupal.org: I agree with you idea that Drupal might not be ready for the masses, however, we cannot hide a good thing from the public especially when it's free (unless it was restricted a la Google Analytics). Being that the cost of an extensible and future proof CMS plateform is prohibitive to most small/medium companies (MCMS is $5K to 25K for an enterprise install), it is clear that many companies are out there looking for a cost-effective CMS, and Drupal provides infrastructure for that (One of my clients prefers to pay me to fight/tweak Drupal for him instead of paying for feature limited but cheap Magnolia or droping big money just for installation of a big-boy CMS without support).
[Latest RSS Content for All Communities | Second Life] Second Life Blogs: Features: Second Life Simulator v1.20.0.83683 ...: We labeled the last three builds "Release Candidate" RC1, RC2 and RC3, which is a clear indication that the simulator was "close to release". We did use HetGrid to run a public Early Adopter program over the course of six months, involving over 600 regions, specifically to allow for work towards the goal of full release.
